Step 1: Pool Layout & Design
After our initial consultation we deliver to every client a color pool design scaled to your yard. This allows our clients to see a comprehensive rendering of their pool layout and make any necessary design revisions. Once the design is accepted we procure all pool specific county and city permits to start the construction of your dream pool. |
| |
Step 2: Physical Layout
The first stage of the construction process involves the layout of the pool pattern on the proposed site, thereby providing a visual outline of the pool’s size and shape giving you the opportunity to make any changes before digging begins. |
| |
Step 3: The Big Dig
Once the physical layout stage is complete and mutually agreed upon, we can begin the process of preparing the site for the pools excavation and construction. |
| |
Step 4: Forming Your Pool Structure
To build a solid foundation for your pool, we use steel and wood forms to shape the structure. While your yard may look unappealing for a few days, this process serves as the framework for the structural integrity of your pool.
| |
Step 5: Setting up the Electrical & Plumbing
We install all the plumbing and electrical components needed to operate your new pool. We make sure that the plumbing pressure is tested and all electrical work meets all the safety regulations and requirements for the city and state codes. |
| |
Step 6: Applying the Gunite
Our team of experienced gunite contractors apply the gunite using
high-pressure machines to create a tough inner shell for your new pool. |
| |
Step 7: Laying the Decking
This is the area that surrounds your new pool. There are a variety of materials offered that range from the standard Sundek material to custom stone or stamped concrete. Also at this stage we create any special features included in your design such as outdoor fireplaces, fire pits, fountains, summer kitchens, outdoor grills, outdoor shower, cabanas and more.
| |
Step 8: Laying the Tile & Coping
In this step, we offer a beautiful selection of natural stone tiles, slates, ceramics, and mosaics. The pool coping can be crafted from natural stone, including limestone, brick, cement, or an assortment of other materials.
| |
Step 9: Masonry & Stone
Our masons have a tremendous amount of pride in their craft and on-site supervision during the installation process ensures that the work that is done is flawless and built to last. |
| |
Step 10: Applying the Plaster
The plaster is a complex yet easy process. It is blown onto the gunite and requires a quick, experienced and hard working crew to smooth the surface to assure a stunning finish. Once completed, the pool is then immediately filled with water. The next 7 days requires the homeowners to diligently “brush” the pool twice a day to ensure the smoothest surface possible. Since this step is essential and must be adhered to, please let us know if we need to provide this service. |
| |
Step 11: Official Start-up & Training
We provide every homeowner with the necessary training on their new pools maintenace and equipment. In addition we give you complimentary manuals that explain in detail how to care for your pool. We also offer a pool service to answer any questions you have regarding the care of your pool and equipment after it’s been completed.
Step 12: Kick back and enjoy your new outdoor paradise!!! |
